Shipping Fees:

We try to keep our shipping costs as competitive as possible. But as a general guide here are our usual fees. Please always ask us for a quote to your specific postcode.

Zone A: EX1 – EX9, TQ1 – TQ14, PL1 – PL9, PL20, PL21.

Free delivery on orders over £250 ex.vat.
£25 + vat per delivery for orders under £250 ex.vat.
Or free collection.

Zone B: EX10 – EX23,  PL10 – PL19, PL22 – PL35.
Free delivery on orders over £2,000 ex.vat.
£50 + vat per delivery for orders under £2,000 ex.vat
Or free collection.

Zone C: DT1 – DT11, TA1 – TA24, TR1 – TR27.
Free delivery on orders over £5,000 ex.vat.
£100 + vat per delivery for orders between £2,000 and £4,999 ex.vat.
£75 + vat per delivery for orders under £5,000 ex.vat.
Or free collection.

Zone D: Rest of UK Mainland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands.

Lead Times:

The majority of our picnic tables and park benches are built to order and shipped fully assembled*. Lead times on items manufactured in our workshop normally ranges from 3 to 10 working days. (*A few of our products are shipped flat packed for self assembly. These products are indicated on the product pages of our website).

Recycled plastic lumber and sheet items are normally dispatched within 3 to 5 working days.

Collections:

Manufactured and stock items can be collected direct from our workshop near Ivybridge, Devon from Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Please inform us in advance on 01752 426600 to arrange a collection.

Delivery Vehicle Access & Unloading:

Deliveries are arranged on the understanding that we can gain vehicular access to the delivery address; please advise of any possible vehicle restrictions. Deliveries will be made to a suitable and secure unloading area. If there is no suitable offloading place then the customer will be responsible for transporting the items to a safe storage place. Delivery is to the curb-side only and does not include walking items to rear gardens or through customers houses.

Some of our largest items can weigh over 200kg and be up tp 3.6m in length, including some picnic tables and pallet shipments. These may require a tele-handler or forklift to assist unloading at the recipient’s address.

We use our own Mercedes flat bed truck for smaller deliveries (up to 6 picnic tables or park benches), or the national pallet networks and low loader or curtain side trucks for larger deliveries.

Returns Information:

• The Plastic Company (Southwest) Limited’s liability in respect of any defect or failure of the products supplied or for any loss, injury or damage attributed thereto is confined to making good by replacement or repairing and defect in the products themselves arising from faulty design or workmanship on behalf of The Plastic Company (Southwest) Limited.
• The Plastic Company (Southwest) Limited’s liability is further limited to defects reported to them in writing within 14 days from the date of despatch of the products by The Plastic Company (Southwest) Limited.
• The Purchaser will assume responsibility for the products being of sufficient suitability and quality for the Purchaser’s purpose.
• The use of recycled materials can cause variations in the products, especially colour variation, effervescence, overflow ridges, pores, shrink holes and surface fissures, in respect of which The Plastic Company (Southwest) Limited accepts no liability whatsoever.
